Our Welcome Home event generates vital funding to help families in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb Counties, individuals, and veterans who are emerging from homelessness. At Humble Design, we know that a house is not a home without a warm bed and a place to gather with family. Our home makeovers change an entire mindset, generating an immediate focus on self-empowerment and long-term stability. With your support, Humble Design can help set families on a course towards a bright and hopeful future.

We’re excited and grateful to have KIM DEGIULIO serving as our Humble emcee. Kim is a reporter and weekend anchor for WDIV Local 4 Detroit, with a great passion for the city.

MIKE HAN is one of the most exciting artists working here in Detroit, with growing recognition across the country. Drawing deeply on his Korean heritage, his artwork is inspired by Korean calligraphy, graffiti, and modern design. He has been commissioned for murals by Google, LinkedIn, the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, and more. His paintings are in the permanent collections of Mercedes Benz Financial Services, Huntington Bank, Shinola Hotel, Daxton Hotel, as well as many private collections. Mike’s artistic practice is focused on the truth that we are all connected. His paintings are “moments, an expression of time within a journey”.
